Instructors Karl Schafer, AI Alfie Price and Rufus Wood. SSW F3 Sunny. Theory, Rigging, prepare for a tow and wind awareness / direction. Dry drills, launch and tow to Silversands, Sail fig 8 course.
Event 3 - Thursday 1st June 2017
Instructor Karl Schafer, assited by Emma Gabbani, SSE F£ Sunny. Theory, local hazards, knots, controlling speed and stopping, get out of irons, dry drills. Launch and tow to Silversands. Fig 8 sailing improving skills.
Event 4 - Friday 2nd June 2017
Instructor Karl Schafer, assisted by Emma Gabbani and Kristian Schafer. SSE F3 Sunny. Theory Effects of boat controls, Port Starboard, actions for those in distress, dangers, man made hazards, windward leeward, Gybe, head to wind to rig, returning to beach or shore. Dry drills. Tow out to Silversands to sail course. Stage 1 issued.
