Event 1 - Sunday 20th August 2017
Instructors Richard Hall and Hector McKimm plus Ai's. W, F3, Sunny. Meet, Greet, course intro, Weather forecasts, knots and clothing. Sail theory Plan, Approach, Manoeuvre, Escape. 5E's, come alongside, pick up a mooring. Rig 420's, tow out to area D. Reorientation / refresher sail. Coach 5E's, practice coming alongside. Return BHYC. De-brief, land drills and knots, theory Anchors and sailing backwards.

Event 2 - Monday 21st August 2017
Instructors Richard Hall and Hector McKimm, plus AI's. W, F3, Overcast. Intro, forecasts and knots. Theory PAME, recap 5E's, Theroy, lying to, hove to close reach, spill and fill. Brief exercises afloat. Rig boats tow out to area D. Sail triangle, concentrate on sailing to windward, lying to and hove to. Lunch on water. MOB practice. Return BHYC. IRPCS and theory re terminology.

Event 3 - Tuesday 22nd August 2017
Instructors Richard Hall and Hector McKimm, plus AI's. E or SE, F3-4 Sunny. Meet and Greet. Forecast and knots, Rig, tow out to area D. Sail triangle, come alongside RIB, sail backwards and apply IRPCS. MOB practice. Lunch on water, Lying to and Hove to practice. Start sailing in adverse conditions. Return BHYC, Meteorology, Beaufort wind scale, changing conditions, synoptic charts and changing conditions.

Event 4 - Wednesday 23rd August 2017
Instructors Richard Hall and Hector McKimm, plus AI's. W F3-4, Sunny. meet and Greet, Forecasts, knots, terminology, anchors and anchoring. Reefing ashore demo. Tow out to area of baywatch, reef afloat, Bahia's and 420's. Sail on a triangle, crew swaps. Lunch afloat. Windward shore landings additional adverse weather conditions sailing, random MOB. Return BHYC. Tides Ed and flow, knots.

Event 5 - Thursday 24th August 2017
Instructors Richard Hall and Hector McKimm, plus AI's. W F2-3 Sunny. Meet and greet Forecast and knots. Theory around tides, streams, charts and symbols and buoyage. Tow out area D. Cottage industry setup, reef afloat Bahia's, 420's beach landing, anchor and MOB, crew swaps. Lunch afloat. Sail triangle adverse conditions, (rudderless). Pick up moorings reef and shake out. Return BHYC. De-brief and knots, complete gaps in theory.

Event 6 - Friday 25th August 2017
Instructors Richard Hall and Hector McKimm, plus AI's. F3 ENE veering S, Sunny. Meet and Greet, Forecast, recap, knots, charts, buoyage. Inversion recovery best practice. Brief skills afloat. Rig boats. supervised sail out of harbour. Perform ex linking skills learnt, come alongside, sail backwards, drop anchor and reef, drop anchor and have lunch. leeshore landing and rudderless sailing. Follow my leader on whistle, MOB, Lye to, Hove to, sail backwards. Return BHYC. De-brief and feedback.
