Instructors Jerry Summers & Hector McKimm. SW F3 Fair. Course intro, 420 rigging, tuning, Rake and prebend. Sail out C & D. Coach on a Port triangle, crew efficiency, boat on boat. Upwind downwind sailing. 360. Gybe practice. Follow my leader tack, gybe, 360 and capsize on demand.
Event 2 - Wednesday 26th July 2017
Instructors Jerry Summers & Hector McKimm. F4-5 SW Fair. Video debrief. Rig Setup and speed video. Hoist / drop zones spinnakers. RS Feva's. Priory Bay Area G Spinnaker launchs / recoveries on off wind legs. Capsize recovery with spinnaker. Upwind sailing in heavier winds.
Event 3 - Thursday 27th July 2017
Instructors Jerry Summers & Hector McKimm. F4-5 WSW Video de-brief spinnakers. Entrapments. Weather synoptic charts. Gusts, Lulls, Headers, Lifters. Symetric dry drills. Area G Priory Bay, Coached triangle, limited spinnaker launchs due to weather.
Event 4 - Friday 28th July 2017
Instructors Jerry Summers & Hector McKimm. SW F5 - 6 Video de-brief. Best course down wind, course types for boats. Dry Drills and tuning. Area G priory Bay in Pico's. Concentrate on all points of sail, 5E's in single handers.
Event 5 - Saturday 29th July 2017
Instructors Jerry Summers & Hector McKimm. SW F2 heavy Rain. EWCC and SI input for village regatta, race tactics etc. Measuring rake and rig tension practical. Prep X2 Feva's X1 Bahia for regatta. Sail out best course downwind with spinnaker and gybing practice.
Bahia 3rd overall, Feva's 1st and 2nd in class. X5 Certs awarded.
