Event 1 - Wednesday 7th May 2014
Instructor Robin Lobb, Peter Hudson and Laurence Blackburn. Wind blowing 6/7 W. Did not sail but out in RIB's for navigation exercise. Then Chart work and riging Pico.
Event 2 - Wednesday 21st May 2014
Instructor Robin Lobb and Laurence Blackburn. Wind SE force 5. Went to other side of fisherman and practised figure of eights. Three capsizes but all righted properly.
Event 3 - Wednesday 4th June 2014
Robin Lobb, Peter Hudson and Laurence Blackburn. Wind SE force 6 Gusting 7. Did not go up in the boats but split into three groups and did a mixture of shore drills and slow speed powerboat training.
Event 4 - Wednesday 18th June 2014
Instructor Robin Lobb, Peter Hudson and Chris Wilkinson. Wind SE Force 3. Sunny and smooth. Took Five Pico's and the Bihia out to Silver Sands. Swaped around to build confidence to sail.
Event 5 - Friday 4th July 2014
Instructor Robin lobb, Peter Hudson and Chris Wilkinson. Wind Force 4-5. Towed out of the Harbour to Bay-watch and set up figure of eight course. Session cut short as a number of students needed to get back in as they had other commitments.
Event 6 - Saturday 19th July 2014
Instructors Robin Lobb, Peter Hudson Chris Wilkinson and Laurence Blackburn. Wind mainly South but very variable. All Sailed a triangular course in Pico's. All those that attended received an OnBoard Certificate for their progress during this term.
Event 7 - Wednesday 17th September 2014
Instructor Jerry Summers. Launched and sailed other side of Fisherman's doing triangles, follow my leader and tacking on the whistle. Harry Rann did assessment for GCSE.
