Race 1 - Saturday 14th June 2014Race Officer Robin Lobb assisted by Liz Mitchell. Course O N G line as many time as possible in the 90 minutes of the race. Wind all over the place starting off West going via North finishing up North East. anything from a flat calm to force two. An interesting if frustrating race with changes in position as the handicap unfolded. Duncan pull out a good lead by 60 minutes in followed by Roger and Steve. However Roger miss out due to hearing a whistle and thinking that was the end with 5 minutes to go and cut the corner so retired. John Carter pulled through the fleet as the wind filled in, leaving a battle of the Swans where their position changed a number of times. Handicap using PY |
