Event 1 - Sunday 16th August 2015
Instructors, Jerry Summers, Zoe Wirdnam, Ed Cooper, Ed Callaghan & AI Alice McKimm. First 3 days were spent around seamanship skills. Course Intro and theory including, 5 essentials and points of sail. Rigging X5 420's and X2 RS Feva's. N F2/3 Tow out to area C. Stage 4 refresher on a triangle coaching 5 E's. 360's round RIB and capsize drills.

Event 2 - Monday 17th August 2015
Instructors, Jerry Summers, Zoe Wirdnam, Ed Cooper, Ed Callaghan & AI Alice McKimm. Morning intro, Theory session including, Rules, MOB, Knots, terminology, Pick up a mooring and rudderless sailing. PM sailing, tow out to area C/D, lovely sunny day with a gentle NE F2 breeze. Windward Leeward slalom covering close proximity sailing, develop crew efficiency and test rules. 360's round anchored RIB and sailing backwards and accelerate away. Triangle course with short races.

Event 3 - Tuesday 18th August 2015
Instructors, Jerry Summers, Zoe Wirdnam, Ed Cooper, Ed Callaghan & AI Alice McKimm. Morning intro and de-brief, theory inputs including weather & beaufort wind scale, forecasts and tides. Tacking, gybing & trapezing land drills. PM sailing tow out to area C, Great sunny day SW F3-4. 420's and RS Feva's, Windward, leeward course with the occasional spinnaker flying. Rudderless sailing on a reach to reach. MOB exercise. Triangle sausage triangle course set with a 5,4,1 go race.

Event 4 - Wednesday 19th August 2015
Instructors, Jerry Summers, Zoe Wirdnam, Ed Cooper, Ed Callaghan & AI Alice McKimm. The next 3 days spent around the Start Racing module. Intro and theory inputs including Starts, Clean air, wind shifts, best course sailed and splitting. Land drills, reefing and trapezing. PM tow out to area C-D, SE F2-3, Windward Leeward course with gate to encourage angles, gate set on windward mark to encourage accurate sailing. Various courses set with multliple starts and races, trapeze and spinnakers flown where appropriate.

Event 5 - Thursday 20th August 2015
Instructors, Jerry Summers, Zoe Wirdnam, Ed Cooper, Ed Callaghan & AI Alice McKimm. Morning intro and theory including food as fuel, basic boat tuning and guides, recap on crew efficiency and 5E's. EWCC S/I's covered and meaning of courses, eg special course 1. Start sequences with class flags. Land drills spinnaker hoists drops and power zones. PM Tow out to area C. Sunny day with SW F3 occasional F4 wind. Special course 1 setup with multiple races, start line positions.

Event 6 - Friday 21st August 2015
Instructors, Jerry Summers, Zoe Wirdnam, Ed Cooper, Ed Callaghan & AI Alice McKimm. Morning intro theory recap on rigging and tuning, race briefing, sign on and boat prep for Bembridge reggata. PM tow out to race area. SW F3 X8 course boats out for the Regatta, with 3 of the boats finishing 9th, 10th and 11th. An excellent days sailing with some good results. Boats sailed back to BHYC under escort.
